With 20+ years of experience, Chris specializes in designing and managing complex biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and research projects. As a principal at MILES, he has led projects ranging from large-scale greenfield developments to precision-driven renovations within tight shutdown windows. Known for his strategic approach and technical expertise, he fosters seamless collaboration between design and construction teams to deliver high-performance facilities.
Chris has extensive experience planning and designing manufacturing and laboratory environments, including pharmaceutical production, semiconductor fabrication, medical research, and animal facilities. He works closely with A&E teams in the design phase and partners with CMARs through project completion to ensure compliance with industry regulations, including FDA, EU, USDA, and NIH standards. His deep understanding of functional workflows and critical utility infrastructure helps prevent costly modifications while optimizing operational efficiency. His expertise in laboratory and research facility design has also led to multiple appointments as an Application Reviewer for the National Institute of General Medical Sciences, COBRE 1 Review Panel.
