Job Title:     IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Location:    Oklahoma City, OK
Job Type:    Full-Time

 


We are seeking a full-time proactive, knowledgeable, and service-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the technology infrastructure of the firm, supporting day-to-day operations, and ensuring systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with the needs of architectural workflows. Experience with design software and AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction), including Revit, Bluebeam, and Newforma environments is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues (on-site and remote).

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and devices (PCs, printers, mobile devices, etc.).

  • Maintain and troubleshoot architectural design software, including Revit, Bluebeam, Newforma, and others.

  • Oversee file server performance, backups, and storage systems; support cloud services as needed (OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.).

  • Assist with setup and maintenance of project collaboration tools (Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro, Revit, Newforma, Bluebeam Studio, etc.)

  • Ensure network security and perform routine system monitoring and updates.

  • Coordinate with external IT vendors and consultants for specialized support. 

  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems, policies, and procedures.

  • Provide onboarding/offboarding IT setup for employees.

 

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field --- or equivalent work experience.

  • 2+ years of IT support experience; experience in an architecture or design office preferred.

  • Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, networking fundamentals, and common design software.

  • Understanding of backup systems, antivirus, and cybersecurity best practices.

  • Familiar with CMMC requirements.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to support non-technical users.

  • Experience with Revit server environments, network plotting, and large-format printers.

  • Familiarity with remote desktop platforms (VPN, RDP, etc.).

  • Experience managing software licenses and updates across a firm-wide environment.
